1. Acceptance
By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using Soniq, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. License
Soniq is licensed, not sold. When you purchase Soniq through the Microsoft Store, Kynora Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the application on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Microsoft Store policies.

- Use Soniq to develop, distribute, or support competing products or services.
- Remove, alter, or obscure copyright or branding notices.
3. Using the Application
Soniq displays the volume and mute state of the system master session and running audio applications, and provides playback controls for active media sessions. It operates through Windows audio and media APIs on your device.
Use Soniq only for lawful purposes and only to control audio on devices you own or control. You must not use Soniq to:
- Disrupt, intercept, or interfere with other users' systems or networks.
- Bypass access controls, licensing, or security mechanisms.
- Infringe copyright, privacy, contractual, or other rights.
- Harass, mislead, or defraud other users or service providers.
4. Audio and Media Information
To display and operate its controls, Soniq reads local audio-session and media-session information, including application names, volume levels, mute states, track titles, artist names, playback status, and album artwork.
This information is processed locally on your device. Soniq does not collect, transmit, sell, or share it with Kynora Studio or any third party. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Third-Party Services
Soniq is distributed through the Microsoft Store and relies on Windows audio and media services on your device. Microsoft, Windows, and the applications whose audio you control are operated by their respective owners. Kynora Studio is not responsible for their availability, behavior, policies, or changes.
6. Purchase, Payments, and Refunds
Soniq is offered as a paid application through the Microsoft Store. Purchases, payments, taxes, refunds, and entitlement processing are managed by Microsoft and are subject to the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale. Kynora Studio does not directly process payment-card information.
Prices, promotions, and availability are set by Kynora Studio and Microsoft and may change over time. A purchase applies to the version and entitlement described on the Store listing at the time of purchase.
7. Updates
Soniq may receive updates through the Microsoft Store, including updates required to maintain compatibility with Windows. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Some updates may be installed automatically by Windows. Continued use of Soniq after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated application where permitted by law.
8. Intellectual Property

10. Disclaimer
Soniq is provided "as is" and "as available." Performance, compatibility, and behavior vary by device, Windows version, and audio hardware and drivers. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that Soniq will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every application or device, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Use volume controls responsibly. Prolonged exposure to loud sound can damage hearing, and high volume levels can damage speakers or headphones. Kynora Studio is not responsible for such damage.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kynora Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, interruption of audio output, damage to audio hardware, or claims arising from your use of the application. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes
These Terms may be updated when application functionality, Store requirements, or legal obligations change. The revision date at the top identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
